Today is Javier Muñoz Day!
Last year, NYC Mayor De Blasio honored (RED) Ambassador Javier Muñoz by naming June 21st Javier Munõz Day. Yup, that’s right, Javi has his own official day in NYC. But in typical Javi fashion, he’s not making Javier Muñoz Day about himself. For the first anniversary of his day, Javi has joined forces with (RED) and NowThis to make it a day for HIV/AIDS activism and celebrating Pride.
In honor of World Pride, the 50th anniversary of Stonewall, and of course, Javier Muñoz Day, Javi and (RED) have designed 5 awesome (RED) PRIDE T-shirts and a (RED) Pride Pin, all of which are for sale on Amazon.com/RED. These T-shirts are perfect for Pride events or for everyday wear. And the best part? 100% of the money (RED) raises from each purchase will go to support HIV/AIDS programs on the ground in sub-Saharan Africa. So now, you can fight AIDS and celebrate Pride with just one purchase!
Looking for other ways to fight AIDS this June? We’ll let Javi take it from here! Check out the video below to find out how you can EAT (RED) SAVE LIVES in all 5 boroughs of NYC—and beyond!
