Merck and (RED) Celebrate Pride with (RED)UCATOR Carl Nassib

June is a big month at (RED)—not only is it Pride Month, but it’s also the anniversary of the month in which AIDS was first discovered in 1981. Thanks to tireless research from scientists, including those from Merck (known as MSD outside the U.S. and Canada), AIDS has been preventable and treatable for decades.

Since the first HIV products became available, Merck has worked tirelessly to expand access to medicines, strengthen health systems, and address global health challenges around the world. Today, HIV/AIDS isa manageable condition, in part, thanks to Merck.

This June, we created special Pride-themed videos, where we caught up with (RED)UCATOR, former NFL player, and CEO of Rayze, Carl Nassib.

We’re so grateful to Merck for supporting (RED) during Pride and other key moments throughout the year. Their generous support has allowed us to engage even more people in the fight to end HIV and AIDS.
