The signature product from the partnership announced in June between The Piaggio Group and (RED) has hit the market in the form of the (VESPA 946) scooter. Available for purchase as part of the (SHOPATHON)RED effort, $150 of the purchase price of each scooter sold will go to The Global Fund to fight AIDS.

Built entirely by hand, the (VESPA 946)RED can be purchased from Vespa dealers in Europe, Asia, the Pacific and the United States. Riders can also pick up exclusive (VESPA)RED accessories including a helmet, t-shirt, and coffee mug to join the fight against AIDS.

“The partnership with (RED), one of the most prestigious institutions in the world, represents another concrete commitment by Piaggio in this area”. The Piaggio Group CEO and MD, Roberto Colaninno, emphasizes. “We are happy and proud today to have been chosen by (RED) to represent the mobility sector as one of their partners. This will be a global collaboration between two organizations recognized all over the world as symbols of professionalism and excellence”.

After announcing the partnership in Rome, The Piaggio Group has been a key (RED) ally turning the Valencia Grand Prix in early November (RED) with its Aprilia racing team. Riders were decked out in (RED) gear with custom painted bikes and supporters joining the fight with the hashtag #iRideRED.
