This June, what you eat matters more than ever! (RED) is once again teaming up with Chef Mario Batali to make it easy for you to join the fight against AIDS.

Why? June marks the month AIDS was first discovered in 1981 and we want to #86AIDS.

#86AIDS? Yep, that’s right.

The term ’86’ is used in the American food industry to indicate that an item on the menu is gone. It’s not available anymore. It’s nixed. And that’s what we want to see happen with AIDS. It’s time to end AIDS.

We’re at a critical moment in the fight against AIDS. Every day 400 babies are born with HIV. It’s our mission to get that down to zero. But we must act now.
