In 2006, Bono and Bobby Shriver began paving the way for a new generation. An AIDS free generation.
They founded (RED) with a simple mission,
to make it easy for people and businesses
to join the fight against the deadly virus.

AIDS has killed more than 35 million people since its discovery in 1981. More than 37 million people are living with HIV, and mothers continue to pass the virus in startling numbers to their children.
Life-saving anti-retroviral treatments cost as little as 30 cents a day, yet most living with HIV won’t see medicine in their lifetime.
Over the past decade,
(RED) has raised
with the help
of our partners.
ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL. THEY ARE NOT.
EVERY TWO MINUTES A TEENAGER IS INFECTED WITH HIV. YET IT IS PREVENTABLE.
AIDS IS THE LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH AMONG WOMEN WORLDWIDE. YET IT IS TREATABLE.
TODAY 400 BABIES WILL BE BORN WITH HIV. SAME THING TOMORROW. AND THE NEXT DAY.
AIDS NO LONGER HAS TO BE A DEATH SENTENCE. ONE PILL A DAY. FOR JUST 30 CENTS CAN STOP MOTHERS FROM PASSING ON THE VIRUS TO THEIR BABIES.
THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN.
AS CONSUMERS, WE HAVE TREMENDOUS POWER. WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO BUY, OR NOT TO BUY, CAN IMPACT SOMEONE ELSE'S LIFE.
EVERY TIME YOU SHOP (RED), SHARE (RED), DANCE (RED), EAT (RED), A PARTNER MAKES A DONATION TO THE FIGHT AGAINST AIDS THANKS TO YOUR CHOICE.
NEVER BEFORE HAVE OUR COLLECTIVE VOICES OR OUR COLLECTIVE CHOICES BEEN SO IMPORTANT.
THERE IS AN END TO AIDS. IT'S YOU.
The Global Fund, the recipient of (RED) funds, is a 21st century organization designed to accelerate the end of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics.
As a partnership between governments, civil society, the private sector, and people affected by the diseases, the Global Fund mobilizes and invests nearly US $4 billion a year to support programs run by local experts in more than 140 countries. By challenging barriers and embracing innovative approaches, partners are working together to end these epidemics.Visit Global Fund Website
Shoppers note that when you buy (RED) products, up to 50% of profits from those sales will go to fight AIDS.
Shoppers buy (RED) and the manufacturers of the (RED) products send a contribution directly to the Global Fund - not to (RED).
The Global Fund uses 100% of this money - with no overhead taken out - to finance HIV/AIDS programs.
The contribution helps a person affected by HIV in Ghana, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Kenya and Zambia.
The result? Shopper has a great new (RED) product and is helping to deliver an AIDS-free generation.
Right now, 130 million girls are out of school.

Add your name to ONE's letter, (RED)'s sister organization, and they'll deliver it in-person to leaders all across the globe this International Women's Day, March 8th.Add Your Name
You don’t have to be a large corporation or a governing body to donate to the Global Fund.
There are millions of dollars at work on the ground in Africa thanks to individuals who donated.
