(RED) Pledges $75 Million To The Global Fund

Big things happened this UNGA week! Last Monday, (RED) announced a pledge of $75 million to the Global Fund over the coming three years, made possible thanks to continued private sector support for the fight against AIDS.

(RED)’s pledge is the largest private sector commitment for this eighth Global Fund Replenishment, building on the extraordinary impact made possible to date by our partners, including Apple, Bank of America, Beats by Dre, FIAT, Merck, Roche, Sanofi, Salesforce, Santander, and Vespa, among many others.

(RED) has generated over $800 million to support the Global Fund’s life-saving work. This money helps fund programs that build robust and resilient health systems and deliver critical prevention, testing, treatment, and support to the world’s most vulnerable communities. Since (RED)’s founding in 2006, (RED)-supported grants have helped more than 325 million people.
